Happy Saturday!

We are needing some help - we emailed all the registered candidates to share our candidate questionnaire for this year's spotlights.

These spotlights will be published over the next few weeks for all local elections (even those without primary challengers are welcome to complete their spotlight information for publication).
NOTE: City election candidates will be published in the fall.
But, in case the candidates did not receive their email (or if it went to spam) - can you please help us get the message to them so they can complete their questionnaires.

The spotlights are published free-of-charge for all candidates as a public service to our readers.

This spreadsheet notes the candidates and who we still lack info from at this point. If you have other ways to contact, please do so in order to ensure we get everyone included!

Good Monday morning, Everyone!
It's come to our attention that a post was made this morning concerning our misspelling of Tompkinsville on the February 12th newspaper heading. We just wanted to set the record straight. The font that is used (and has been for many years) in Linus Text. Tompkinsville is spelled correctly. As always, thanks for having our backs!

We need photos from throughout the year - landmarks, landscapes, scenery, beauty....

IMPORTANT NOTICE

TVA will have our Celina Substation out of service for four (4) hours beginning 11:59pm on Saturday night, October 25 until 4:00am on Sunday October 26, weather permitting, to perform maintenance on a 69kV switch structure. Areas affected include the City of Celina, Burkesville Road, Livingston Hwy, Gainesboro Road and surrounding areas.



We apologize for the inconvenience, but the work is necessary to insure the safe, reliable operation of the substation and electric service to the affected areas.
