Did you know in 4-H, projects are judged against a standard, not against other projects? "Standards" include things like the 4-H members knowledge, skills, workmanship and presentation. "Static" or inside exhibits are displayed inside the buildings - projects like Visual Arts, Photography, Posters, Educational Displays, Foods & Nutrition, etc.

Great foods & nutrition meeting today! The kids made applesauce muffins, learned how to knead yeast bread dough and had a rock-paper-scissors battle for the extra loaves. Great meeting in June--lots of business conducted, two project talks, a club livestock judging training session, recreation, songs and even homemade monster cookies. Now on to fair prep!
