When I opened MCKnits knitting studio, I not only thought about how to make a living with my creations but most important how to be a vessel to empower women, men, children with their creative endeavors, dreams & aspirations. This Saturday 4/21 from 5-7pm one of my dreams, intentions, whatever you want to call it, is coming to fruition. MCKnits is showcasing Lilah Xanthe Volpe-Emerson of Seekinglight16 candles. Her story behind the candles is a very poignant n tender one. Seeking light is such an awesome name to have chosen for her product because in her young life adversity has chosen to keep her company. Instead of crumbling down n giving up, her beautiful blue eyes are seeking light to guide her soul and spirit to make her whole again. Strength and love is contained in the small jar that with itās burning remind us all of our own strength n human resilience.
