One year ago today… the she shed arrived! 🥹

At this point it was literally just a shed being hauled down the driveway. I had no idea how much time I’d end up spending out there sewing, creating, making a giant mess, cleaning up said giant mess…and then immediately making another one. 😂

Clark has discovered that Calvin comes with a built-in memory foam option and has ZERO intention of respecting personal space.

In my belly? CHECK. 😂

There are a lot of things we can disagree about in this world, but I feel VERY strongly that a BLT requires toasted bread and Duke’s mayo. I said what I said. 😂

Now for the important question: How do YOU make your BLT? And don't come in here saying Miracle Whip unless you're prepared to defend yourself. 🤣

A customer reached out after receiving her doodle Everyday Sling because she absolutely HAD to send me a picture of herself with her two doodles.

And her message basically went:

**“I love this bag. I love love love this bag… Did I say I love this bag? Because I LOVE THIS BAG.”** 😂🐶🐶

This is the stuff that makes my entire day.

I spend a ridiculous amount of time choosing fabrics. She was able to choose the coordinating straps and tassel. Everything was packaged up pretty and hoping that when someone opens that package, they love what I made.

Then I get THIS. 💛

Her. Her doodles. Her doodle bag.

I mean… COME ON. 😍

Thank you for trusting my little handmade business with your order—and for sending me the picture. This one is going straight into my **“THIS is why I do this” ** file.

And apparently, I may need to find more doodle fabric. 😂

I ordered this fabric a month ago along with a mushroom print — no surprise there if you’ve been here awhile. 🍄😂

Neither one arrived.

USPS says delivered. Reality says they are wherever all of our Saturday mail goes to disappear. GONE. That’s another story. 😑

BUT...I managed to find ONE MORE YARD of this OOP Ruby Star Society leopard rainbow canvas!! 🙌 And this time it went straight to my PO Box, where ALL future fabric orders will be going.

The mushroom fabric is gone forever. I will remain bitter about that — and my Saturday postal carrier — for approximately 6–8 months. 😂

But I have the fabric.
I have a tassel.
I have a zipper.
I have a bag pattern.

LET'S GOOOOO!! 🧵✂️🐆🌈

I'm heading out of town tomorrow, so you'll have to wait until next week to see what this becomes. I am SO STINKING EXCITED!!

Making all the little details that go into my bags! ✨ Today it's jump rings + lobster clasps on a whole pile of faux leather tassels. One at a time in real life… considerably faster on Facebook.

I made a BLT today for lunch...I legit have not had one in a decade. I do not know why!! Delicious!!

I am about to start making my childhood favorite sandwiches every week.

What should I make next?

✅️Grilled cheese
✅️ Fried bologna
✅️ PB&J
✅️ Ham, cheese & potato chips
✅ ️🍅 tomato sandwich (this is likely whats happening!!)
