I am humbled beyond belief. My piece from the National Norwegian-American Folk Art Exhibition was purchased by the Vesterheim Museum for the museum collection. I had such a great time making this piece earlier this year and finding just the right color matches in Norwegian wool to do it justice. This piece is a table runner that replicates an åkle dated 1750-1800 (see the detail photos for comparison). Grateful to be among the great work at this exhibition. (And so fun to see work of fellow weavers I know and so much representation from many of my fellow North House Folk School instructors in the award winners as well!) With gratitude -Kristina

Odds and ends on a Wednesday. A new summer and winter design. A tatting project (first one ever!) that I started on my trip to Norway in May - a lavender sachet. The new towels on the loom today, and the last batch that came off the loom last week.
