Most all new Beach, Summer, Garden decor has been marked down 20%! While we are off searching for good decor finds as we travel to Florida, Kayla, Kira and Judy will be running the shop (like they usually are cause we are always off hunting for treasures).
Shop is open Thursday & Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-4.

We are off to Beaufort, SC this morning as a part of our trip to Florida with picking stops along the way. Do you have any favorite spots to find unique gems? Anything specific you are looking for so we can keep an eye out for you?
Also thank you so much for our the condolences for Morticia, she will be missed. Lucy will be recovering inside our home for 6 weeks. She will most likely have permanent bald spots after her skin/tissue regrows and a limp from her dislocated leg that the vet said was impossible to splint. But the crazy little goofy fluffball will still be with us 🖤

We lost our poor Morticia to a stray dog! He also attacked our sweet Lucy, a white silkie. She is in rough shape. We have triaged her as much as we could and now are at a vet because she needs more care than I can give at home. It has been a chaotic and emotional couple of days! Backyard chickens are not livestock they are your pets.
Kevin and I are set to leave in the morning on a picking trip down the coast to Florida so Kira and Kayla are going to be left with little Lucy’s care. Life likes to test your own timing but there would never be a good time for this to happen 😭

Summer Vacation is here along with the heat. We have decided to put lots of our gardening items on sale along with lots of other random items because we will start transitioning shop in about a month to Fall. All of our large and many of our small glazed garden pots along with new watering cans, garden tools and a plethora of random items have been marked down 20%! Come look for those orange stickers! I will continue to add items throughout the week.
We got a huge shipment of Umgee in with lots of lovely dresses to stay cool in this hot summer! Stop in for a visit. We are open Thursdays & Fridays 10-5 and Saturdays 10-4. You can also shop every day online at www.spadeandbroom.com.

I had a wonderful birthday yesterday full of all my favorites. Started with feeding the birds, drinking coffee, planted some zucchini, watered plants, walked the little trail at Lake Lucas, thrifted, found some great tables, visited Worthville beach which is gorgeous, hit 2 estate sales and several other thrift stores, got a sweet gift from Judy, redecorated the shop, watered my garden, visited with my parents, had Outback delivered, blew out a fire ball on a key lime pie and ended the night watching The Bride. It was a great day!
