We are in need of smaller size dresses (0-6) and 12 and up dresses. We have had several girls needing those sizes and we slim inventory in those 2 areas. If you have gotten a dress from us in the past and can donate it back, PLEASE message us and we will work out a time to get it back. It’s that time of year again and Haley’s Prom closet is overflowing with Dresses ( THANKS TO ALL THE DONATIONS!). We would love to be mobile again but it will probably be next year when that happens. This year we will use our location and Bayne & Co (24731 County Rd 460 Trinity, AL 35673) to give out dresses. We are going to do a trial run on February 7th from 10-2 ( can stay longer if the turnout is good). Please share the post so we can help as many girls as possible with a FREE prom dress 💜

good evening! we are ISO plus size dresses specifically 16 and up! donations can be dropped off at bayne and company hair studio during business hours or you can send a message to our page and someone can meet you after hours! we also will be operating on an appointment only basis due to limited space! just send us a message and we will work something out with you!

week 2: 18 dresses
week 3: 19 dresses
week 4: 19 dresses
almost 60 out of approximately 700 dresses!! this wouldn’t of been possible without family and friends that helped set up and take down and assist the young ladies that came in looking for dresses and especially not possible without those who donated these dresses or small businesses that took up donations and those who allowed us to use their building to host the pop ups! this has been such an amazing experience for everyone involved!! i know haley is grinning ear to ear and will for sure be watching over each and everyone of the girls that got to take home dresses!! the only thing we ask, is once prom is over, please reach out to us and donate the dresses back so they can be worn again!! these dresses are only worn for a couple hours and can be reworn for years to come!! if you got a dress from haley’s prom closet, we would love to see pictures from your big night!! you can tag the page or use ! please do not sell these dresses, if you don’t donate it back, find a girl in need and pay it forward. we do not make any kind of profit doing this. we pay out of our pockets for decorations, gas, racks to hang the dresses, garment bags, and no one is getting paid to help with set up or break down. we hope to be able to manage and keep the stock we have so everyone has plenty of options to chose from so donating back will help us tremendously! we hope to do this for many years to come and keep spreading the prom season joy! again, THANK YOU!!!!

we had a fun day at haley’s prom closet at oak grove fcm church! 18 dresses went home!! if you haven’t gotten to come see us yet, we will be in florence on saturday (2/24) at chisholm hills church of christ!! this will be our last day!! be sure to come see us!!

Due to the amazing response we’ve gotten with additional donations and people coming to pick out dresses, we have decided to move our February 17th location to Oak Grove FCM Church. This allows us to have plenty of room for those who do come on Saturday! Please share and spread the word so it can reach those who do plan on attending! We can’t wait to see everyone!

we cannot begin to thank everyone for all the help behind the scenes on making Haley’s Prom Closet happen!! Bayne & Company Hair Studio for not only taking up donations but for allowing us to have try on days as well. Serenity Day Spa of Florence for taking up donations. Lawrence County Dream Center for their extremely generous donation. Chisholm Hills Church of Christ for letting us host try on days. A huge thank you to all those have donated near and far, it means the world not only to us, but to the girls receiving these dresses. And finally, friends and family who have spread the word, helped set up and take down, load and unload the trailer, sorting dresses into sizes, I could go on. None of this would be possible with out the love and support from the community and even outside the community. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! 💕

One family in Lawrence County is providing free prom dresses to the community in memory of their beloved daughter.

we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

we had an amazing day today and gave 20 dresses away!! all of the girls were so beautiful and excited!! that’s why we do this and are so ready for 2 more weekends!! serenity day spa received more donations, bayne and company hair studio is still taking donations, people are mailing dresses in, and all of them are so beautiful. last saturday night we received a message from the lawrence county dream center in town creek wanted to make a VERY generous donation. they have done something similar for the last few years, not for the same reason, but we both shared the same purpose in the end. we received over 500 dresses from them. they also donated shoes and jewelry and even the clothing racks and hangers. 500 dresses is not what you are thinking in your head it is going to be. unfortunately today, we were only able to transport about half of the dresses but those who were unable to find a dress, may still have options! and for that, we are so thankful that even if someone walked away today empty handed, we can keep trying and hopefully they find something over the next 2 weekends. but we still have so many dresses to give!! we are so thankful for everyone that has contributed this far. dresses can be donated back as well and can be worn again! we are still working out the details for dropping them off but will make a later post on that!

i say all this to go back to the scripture at the start of this post. losing Haley shook us to the absolute core. we never understood why or how this could happen and you just always ask God what his plan is for you after this. how could he put you through such tragedy and heartbreak? well, here we are. we knew how special prom was to Haley. and it would be days and days and days of shopping till she found THE one. but not everyone has the means to go out and hunt for hours and days on end and then you find THE dress and see the price tag and you have to walk away. Haley’s loss, gave us the chance to honor her, and give the moments she held so dearly to her, to others. God has truly blessed us with every donation and providing these dresses to not just us, but anyone who needs them. He gave us the imposssible and he somehow made it possible. and there so many little things that will happen or we will see and it’s just that little glimmer of something, and she’s been with us everyday and every step of the way and if you don’t walk away with a dress, we hope you atleast walk away with knowing you are worthy, you are enough, you are beautiful, you are kind, and you deserved to be here. someone needs YOU here!! we are so thankful for this opportunity and hope to continue this for years to come and can’t wait for these last two weekends!! 🦋💕

3 dresses got taken home today!! and we still have over 100 and there are more coming that have been shipped or haven’t been dropped off yet!! this was such a special day and an amazing way to honor our girl, we know she was as happy as we were!! 3 more dates left! next weekend we will be in florence at chisholm hills church of christ 10am-3pm!! if you are unable to attend any of the remaining days, please message the page, and we will work a time out for you to come try on and find a dress! 🦋💕
