🖤✨ This kitchen witch has been BUSY. ✨🖤

Between brewing up soap, stirring sugar scrubs, pouring candles, and generally making a magical little mess, we’ve been creating our Witches Brew collection. I've always said self-care should feel a little bit magical. However sometimes I give chaos goblin energy this time of year because I'm in the thick of making holiday inventory. I'm sure Jennie would agree.

Our Witches Brew scent starts with bright notes of bergamot, lemon, cucumber water, violet, and jasmine, then settles into deeper notes of cashmere, musk, and sap. Clean, mysterious, earthy, and just a little spellbinding.

Some of these goodies are available all year because we believe in keeping the magic going. Others are special for the fall season.

Everything is handmade in small batches by your friendly neighborhood witch, one pour, stir, sprinkle, and spell at a time.

🍂 Welcome, Fall! 🍂

Today marks the Autumn Equinox. It's a beautiful moment of balance, when day & night meet as equals & we begin our slow descent into the darker, cozier half of the year.

Blessed Equinox, friends. May this season bring you warmth, abundance, a little magic, & the reminder that there is beauty in letting go & making room for what comes next.

It’s that magical in-between time of year when summer isn’t quite gone, but fall is starting to make its presence known.

The mornings are slightly chilly, the evenings are still warm. The trees are just beginning to show little hints of what’s to come.

And right on cue, our Apple C***r & Pumpkin Spice soaps are ready! 🍎🎃

These are two of our favorite scents for this little seasonal transition. They are warm, cozy, spicy & perfectly autumnal, even if we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet.

Our other seasonal faves, Witches Brew & Plum Tea are ready as well.

🍂 The First Acorn of Fall 🍂

If you've ever walked with me in the fall I've probably told you about old folk magic that surrounded acorns. One old folk spell says the first fallen acorn you notice each autumn carries quite a bit of seasonal magic. Keep a whole acorn in your pocket, purse, or wherever you keep your money through the winter, and it is said to invite luck, prosperity, and protection from negativity. Bonus points is you can keep it with a gold or green coin (doesn't need to be real). Make sure to thank the oak tree for it's sweet little gift.

When spring arrives, return the acorn back to an oak tree, or bury in the ground as a thank you for the tree’s gift. 🌳

The acorn carries another little lesson. It teaches patience. That strength is built over seasons, and that even the tiniest beginnings can hold the promise of something great. From this little acorn comes a beautiful, mighty oak.

We took a little inspiration from this tradition and made some cute little acorn candles. Each container holds about 2 ounces of wax.

These acorns are handmade and filled with gmo-free soy wax and made with a fragrance called Cashmere. It's a soft, warm, cozy fragrance made for crisp autumn evenings. Each is made in a little reusable clay container. Just wash with warm water when down burning to keep your little magical trinkets in.

These little beauties are going faster than I thought. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. I only have 8 left.

Started holiday soaps! Scary. I am depating replacing Christmas Spice or refreshing the Silent Night with new notes. Thoughts? Leave them alone or change it up?
