Saddler to the 6th At Saddler to the 6th, we sell American Civil War attire, equipments, and occasionally other related items. The time it takes depends on how specialized it is.

In stock, we try to keep enough to put somebody in a uniform, we do not have every type of jacket in stock all the time but can get most anything for you. We generally have accoutrements on hand and I make the infantry belts, some of the cav belts, and most of the cav leather goods. The some of the toys are American made, though many are foreign made. I have flags made in New Mexico and Houston fo

r reenaactors to carry. I occasionally have used fi****ms that I have traded for on hand also. So, if there is something from the period you want, just ask, if I don't have it, I can probably get it. Many of my items cross to other eras also.

To my local friends in the Temple, Tx area who are Civil War Reenactors, I have been ask to get some folks together for family day at the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum. It is Saturday February 6 and is from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. They are looking for folks in period attire to talk to visitors to the museum. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them or get with the museum to get an answer.

I posted about the cancelation of temple junction on my page, someone suggested that I post it here so, much to my regret, but for the safety of reenactors , thier animals, ant to prevent damage to ground and Reenacting gear, we have canceled temple junction, we will start working on next years event soon, would like your support and suggestions on how to make our event better. Thank you,

God willing and I have transportation for my trailer, I will be putting up my tent for Temple Junction Wednesday. Forcast is grim as far as reenactors go, rain, but so far, most of the rain has gone west and north of us. Pray it is that way Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hopefully, putting up the tent this week at Jefferson. Have to work out a few problems to get there but what's new.

Well Boys and Girls, I just got a call from sutler coordinator that Pleasant Hill is canceled due to rain in the forecast. Been there in a lot of rain, this is a first, that Pleasant Hill has been canceled for rain. Hate to see it but will make the best of it.

God willing, I will be heading to Pleasant Hill Wednesday (April 8) night, Hope to see most of my friends there for the reenactment on April 9-11.

The following week, we will be headed to Mexia at the Confederate Reunion Grounds.
