What an honor it was to make my sister-in-laws wedding dress and veil! Lacey has been a part of our family for YEARS and is like a little sister to me! Lacey’s veil was made with tulle from her mother and aunts wedding veils. The lace on the edge of the veil is from her grandmother’s wedding dress! I would say my brother is a pretty lucky guy 😉 📸

All hands on deck!....My very first heirloom dress and it’s still one of my favorites! The skirt and top underlay are her mother’s wedding dress. The lace overlay on the bodice is from her mother’s cotillion dress. Emily’s dress is a remake of her mother’s wedding dress. The top layer of the original dress didn’t make it through the preserving process. We had to find new fabric for the top layers. Emily came up with crochet lace and chiffon and I loved the idea! All of the original decorative lace is lined around the top and bottom of Emily’s dress! The lining is also from the original dress.
