The Milky Way. A rising Moon. And an unforgettable night beneath the stars. ✨🌙

Join us at Mount Lemmon Lodge on August 1 at 7:30 PM for a guided journey through the summer sky with astronomer, telescope maker, and night-sky guide Zane Landers.

From our high-elevation setting in the Santa Catalina Mountains, you’ll explore the heavens through a large-aperture telescope, binoculars, and specialized night-vision technology that can reveal nebulae, star fields, and the intricate structure of the Milky Way.

The evening may include colorful double stars, brilliant star clusters, deep-sky wonders, and views of the Moon’s craters and mountain ranges as it rises above Mount Lemmon. Weather permitting, Zane may even attempt a view of Comet 10P/Tempel 2.

This relaxed, small-group experience is designed for curious first-time stargazers and longtime astronomy lovers alike, with plenty of time to look through the telescope, ask questions, and simply take in the mountain night.
