Two quick stops on my way home from a family beach trip landed me here.
It was my first time at that restore. Too pricey for me but a clean and organized store.
The goodwill prices here are far better than the prices in Visalia, Ca.
Something about sourcing out of town fills my cup.

Sometimes you have to look past the dirt!

I spotted two pairs of Dr. Martens at Goodwill. The first pair was priced at $49.99 way too high for a thrift store flip. 😬

Then I found this yellow pair for $8.69. They looked rough, dirty, and honestly pretty questionable, but I saw the potential. A lady stopped to tell me those yellow boots have been there for a week. 🫠

A little cleaning, a little elbow grease, and they were listed and SOLD that same night. ✨

Every flip like this helps fund my nursing school journey, and I’m so grateful for every find, every sale, and everyone who supports this dream. 💛👩🏻‍⚕️

Sometimes the best treasures just need someone willing to see what they can become.

🎓 What are we selling to help fund nursing school? 👩🏻‍⚕️

Welcome to Episode 1 of a new series! I’ll be sharing the vintage treasures I’m selling to help pay for my journey from LVN to RN. Some pieces come from my personal collection (the hard-to-let-go-of ones 😅), and others are amazing local finds I’ve sourced along the way.

Every sale gets me one step closer to that RN degree. ❤️ Thanks for following along and supporting this journey!

You know that moment when you pick up a Facebook Marketplace find… and it suddenly has a few more “moving parts” than you expected? 😂

The second I picked this wooden quilt rack up, I realized it was going to need a little more love than I had imagined.

Naturally, it earned a spot in the vintage death pile. except this time, I actually tackled it instead of letting it sit for months.(just three days in the back of my truck) A little glue, a little patience, and it’s back together and ready for another life. ❤️

Please tell me I’m not the only one with a project pile that’s way too optimistic. 😂
