•Here’s to year 11 (officially started Sunday)! Looks a lot different today than it did 11 years ago just the 2 of us lol... Lyndall loved the stripper this year (as opposed to last year 😂) she was all over the tractor and wanted to crawl around in the dirt storm... big kids of course love to give me a heart attack by jumping on the 8ft bales and poor Hayes had a difficult time bc he can’t do everything the big kids can (last picture he’s throwing a fit because he can’t get on the bales haha)

•let the nights of “I want daddy to put me to bed” and the mornings of “I want daddy to get me up for school” and me feeling completely inadequate begin lol

•me staying up until all hours of the night finding things to do around the house waiting for him to get home so I don’t have to go to bed alone (my house is always immaculate during harvest haha)

•the kids hoping and asking me constantly if something went wrong on the stripper so daddy can come home early and put them to bed

•trying to hurry and finish homework so we can take supper to daddy and get home before bedtime routine

The picture of Brant and Nick is my favorite because it was right after Nick got done telling Brant “just 6 more years and you can be out here stacking bales for me after school” I wish I would’ve recorded Brant’s reaction... he wanted to jump off the tractor right then and learn

•the lessons they learn and experiences they gain during harvest especially are ones that I look forward to every year.. I love seeing them grow up in this life... I wouldn’t change it for the world 😍

How is it that the girl who made me a mama is 8 🙀 yesterday I went into family dollar to buy her “8” candle and grabbed the “6”... didn’t even think twice about it and didn’t figure out that was wrong until late last night... it just doesn’t seem possible that she’s getting so old so fast... she’s the most loving, helpful little girl we didn’t know we needed... God sure knew what he was doing giving her to us... she has big emotions and loves her people fiercely... she is the first one to help with the babies with a smile on her face about it... she’s so incredibly smart and wise beyond her years... she’s clumsy and goofy and loves to make us all laugh with her goofy dances! We love you L! Happy birthday sweet girl!!

Sweet little girl is 4 months old 😍 she’s growin like a w**d, loves her hands being in her mouth and loves smiling and laughing at anyone who will pay attention to her... she sleeps like a dream and loves rolling all over the floor... she has many faces all which were completely obsessed with!

Baby girl is three months! She’s been rolling over for about a month now both ways so she’s all over the living room floor, started sleeping 12+ hours which is better than older brother, got to meet Santa, is definitely the smiliest, giggliest baby we’ve had by far but it’s prob hard for her not to find the chaos around her humorous 😂 she’s very patient with all the cuddles, kisses and hugs her siblings want to give her, her hands are her pacifier and she loves them constantly being in her mouth, and she loves falling asleep in the car to Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Sea”... she’s everything we didn’t know we needed 😍

Shout out to and .tx for giving us a normal meet Santa picture! We usually do for Santa but there was no way I was doing their version of “normal” this year... Ashley and the staff at Vaughan’s went out of their way to make this experience so pleasant, although Hayes would disagree 😂! And Santa was absolutely perfect! The little two were falling apart at the end and the store owner and even the people behind us in line were so helpful when Lyndall got hangry... I absolutely will use them next year if they do this again!

Number 4 is two months old today! She wakes up once a night and sleeps great in the day too 🙌🏻 hooray for FINALLY getting sleep around here! She does not like to be put down... ever! Always wants to know what’s going on... she’s so loved on by her siblings (when she’s not getting hit in the head with things by Hayes, then instantly kissed to make it better 🤦🏻‍♀️) it’s 100% chaos in here and when it’s quiet I panic thinking I lost a kid 🤷🏻‍♀️ most days I’m drowning 💯 but I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

It’s been longer than I even want to admit since I opened up my bible and just had time alone with God... the past couple of days have me feeling anxious and just disappointed and unsure of where our country is headed... I felt a desperate need to find some calm in the chaos... I pull my bible out of the drawer today to get some journaling done and randomly open it up to this page from a couple of years ago... could not have been more perfect 🙌🏻

Lyndall’s face perfectly sums up how hard it is to have 6 people on the cotton stripper 😂 there are fights over who gets to sit in daddy’s lap, tears bc no one wants to sit in the floor but then it’s always full on meltdown mode when it’s time to go lol it’s crazy how our tractor selfies have changed over the years! I could cry 😍 Lyndall had an appointment this morning and the kids weren’t allowed to come with... since they didn’t have school today Nick stayed home with them... I walked into a house that was spotless and two kiddos (and a husband probably 😆) who were so dang proud of themselves and so excited to show me all their hard work!

I have been run down lately as any new mom usually is... baby not sleeping and I hardly have time to do anything between her or Hayes always wanting to be held... I crave organization and a clutter/mess free house but lately it’s just not been possible...

I’m so lucky to have a husband who knows the things I need and makes the kids excited to help clean lol... the playroom was a wreck, both the kids rooms were messy, dishes in the sink and just chaos! Laikyn even made a “to do list” of what to get done and I wish I had videoed how excited they were to show me the house... one less thing on the running to do list I have in my brain!

Love tank is definitely full today! I love how he knows the things to make me happy! He knows my love language and how to show me he loves me! I couldn’t be any more blessed with this family of mine!
