Back in December I put up a post about competing in the top welder competition hosted by and sponsored by . Well, its been 4 months and the episodes are finally being released! The first one dropped yesterday and the rest will be published in the coming weeks. I was competing alongside respected welders/fabricators, it was an honor working with you guys 🙏

My welding helmet was by far the most decorated though😂 Maybe that's because I was the only one there that was not a professional welder and came from an automotive background. Shoutout to the guys who made it onto my helmet

Once I get close to dialing in a tune, I make very subtle changes and drive on them for a few days or weeks. You cant really get a good grasp on where you need to go from there because sometimes the weather, humidity, elevation, etc will all play a part on what you see on your afr gauge. Sometimes you realize that the circuit you changed wasnt the one you needed to fix or that you actually went in the wrong direction in the fuel curve and thats OK. Dialing in your carburetor 100% takes time. And once you got it, its over. So enjoy the ride while it lasts 👍

In case you all didnt know, I'm also a professional ice cream man. Like, not even joking. My brothers and I(shown in the picture) opened an ice cream store in downtown Redlands called back in 2017. Although I don't physically work in the store anymore, I still operate the ice cream trailer for catering type events and my Turbo 4.8 does all of the towing 💪

This time, we were hanging out with the guys from at King Of The Hammers while they had their unplugged event and took 30+ EVs out in the desert for trail riding.

It was the mosy SANDIEST day I've ever had and I'm still clearing the sand out of my lungs. Had a great time with those guys and I hope to see them again soon!

The MPCM is over but a big thanks to who took this awesome photo of some of the shapest minds in the industry hanging around my truck. Its crazy to think that something built by someone in their own garage could impress so many people. This really gave my motivation a big push because 2023 is just getting started 🤘

Top Welder 2022 is officially over. I'm back home now but this past weekend has been insane. Never would I have imagined that I would be reached out to and compete on a show against top tier professionals but here we are. 2022 ended up being a slow year for me but 2023 will be my year, so get ready!

Topwelder 2022 is officially over! I've met some amazing people this weekend and it had been a fun experience overall. Tomorrow I leave Texas and head back to California! Thanks to for having us compete and for sponsoring the event. Special thanks to the 4 instructors that helped us complete the challenges! It was a pleasure meeting and I know we will meet again soon!

So its official! I will be competing in Top Welder Season 4 hosted by and sponsored by . 3 other content creators have been chosen to compete against me at their Texas campus. There will be 4 welding challenges that we need to overcome in order to get the most points and win the whole thing. I don't know who the other 3 creators are but I intend to show them what a hobby garage builder from california can do. Once I know more details, I'll be sure to share them on here. Wish me luck!

Really wish I would have taken a group photo with these guys, we had a lot of fun doing this interview but you can clearly see that after 3 days of non stop walking and filming, I was pretty tired. Either way, these guys make really sharp looking brake systems that work even better than they look. You can catch the full interview on my youtube channel.

This is where it all started. What you're looking at is a 1993 Honda Prelude. I got this car when I was 15 years old. I learned to drive in this car, I did my first engine swap, cam swap, auto to manual swap and interior swap in this car. I even had my first wreck in this car(twice). I experimented so much on this car that by the time it left my hands, the drivetrain and suspension was so mangled, it needed to be completely redone top to bottom. Good times. Thanks to this car, I was able to perfect some of the skills I have now.

I got to see the guys at at SEMA again this year! These guys have come up with a new fan design that mitigates load on the battery when the fans are turned on. Couple that with last years "Sickle Blade" design and these guys are on a roll! Can't wait to see what they design for next year!

SEMA 2022 is officially OVER! It may not sound like a lot but after 3 days straight of non stop work and sleepless nights, I am ready for a day off 😓. It was great to see the guys again and I'm happy to see thar they received a runner up award this year! They've helped me out so much over the last 3 years its crazy. This year has been set back after set back but next year will be all go go go!
