Good morning, let me introduce myself to you and share what we are about and why I chose the name “2nd Go Around Treasures”.
My name is Gena, I am 52yrs old, newly divorced and starting over. This season in my life truly feels like I am living life for the first time in years. So, I guess you could say this is my “2nd Go Around “to live in happiness! Last year I made a choice to choose happiness. I prayed and put a lot of thought into what brings happiness to me and how I could use that to give to others as well as financially support myself. As a result of this searching, I came up with “2nd Go Around Treasures” as a way to combine three of my passions; fashion, hope in Jesus and horses! You see, I love fashion, horse tack, bargains and shopping! I will be able to offer you great items at awesome prices. And the best part for you-You won’t have to go out searching for bargains yourself-I will find them and bring them to you! We all have a little different style, which makes us each unique in who we are. If I can find you that unique article of clothing , or piece of jewelry, or even create an original article of clothing or “Bling “ item that puts a smile on your face-then I have done my job. As a cowgirl, I love anything original or Bling! So I will be making and designing custom clothing, hats, purses, belts, jewelry, horse tack, dog collars and much more. I am sure in time, I will have something that you won’t be able to resist, an original item that says “This is me”!
I also want this business to be an inspiration to others to never give up. Life has its ups and downs but we have the choice to look forward and grow or look behind and stay in misery. We have the option to learn from our past experiences, find solutions and choose to not stay in the problem .I know firsthand that encouragement is something that we all need from time to time. I plan to share something encouraging with you all at least once a month. Perhaps, something personal from my own life experience or maybe just something that brought joy to my heart-in hopes that is might bring a smile to you also. This life is not just about me but about how I can give hope to others…and what a better way to do that, than to share encouragement with you!!
