👻💚 THE HITCHHIKING GHOSTS HAVE ARRIVED!!! 🎃😍

DIY Halloween Project #2 is complete and OMG I AM OBSESSED!!! 👻🙌

Let me tell you, this one almost broke me! 🤣 About 40 minutes into handpainting, I was ready to throw in the towel! So much more detail than my Minnie Candy Corn! 🎨🤦‍♀️

After lots of paint, blood, sweat, and a few minor meltdowns I DID IT!!! 👏🤣Measuring nearly 3 FEET BY 3 FEET, this is officially the LARGEST handpainting I've ever completed!

And NO, there's no DIY video series for this one. I was too busy having a near meltdown over all those tiny details to worry about filming! 🤣💀

We can't WAIT to display this in our front yard for Halloween this weekend! 🎃🏡

🎄 NEXT UP CHRISTMAS PROPS! Because apparently I've convinced myself I'm a professional outdoor decoration artist now. Someone hide my paintbrushes before I turn our front yard into a theme park! 🤣🤦‍♀️

Today’s episode: Turning a piece of foam board into a giant Minnie Candy Corn! 🍬🎃

I’ve watched enough DIY videos to convince myself I’m qualified for this. Spoiler Alert: I AM NOT. 🤣

But here’s the thing about me once I get an idea in my head, I’m determined to make it happen. Even if I question every life decision along the way! 😂

Before anyone thinks I abandoned my Halloween DIY video series, I PROMISE I DIDN’T! 🤣 A NEW Minnie Candy Corn video drops TOMORROW! 🍬🎃

Sometimes life just happens! 🤷‍♀️ It’s been a HECTIC week over here. Between being a one woman show trying to conquer the world, handling life’s unexpected curveballs, tackling my quarterly NJ Sales Tax bookkeeping (because apparently the State wants their money 🤣💸), and attempting to enjoy the little things in life. I’m just trying to remember to BREATHE! 😂

OMG. YOU GUYS. I’M OBSESSED!!!! Did I have a complete meltdown 40 minutes into hand painting it today and seriously consider abandoning the entire project because it was SO challenging? ABSOLUTELY. 🤣🎨

BUT I PUSHED THROUGH AND FINISHED IT!!! 🙌 Unfortunately, no process videos for this one because I was too busy fighting for my sanity with a paintbrush. 🤣

I CANNOT WAIT to show you how AMAZING it turned out!!! Apparently, my new hobby is choosing DIY projects that test every ounce of my patience. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! 🤣🎃

💚⚾️ PCD'S PHANATIC EARRINGS ARE HEADED TO THE PHILADELPHIA FILM FESTIVAL! 🎬✨

And the story behind this order is so CUTE! 🥹❤️ PCD Customer Sue ordered 2 pairs of our Phanatic Dangle Earrings for this weekend's viewing of The Big Phan Documentary!

One pair for herself and one for her 84 year old Mom, who is absolutely PHANATICAL about the Phanatic! 🥹❤️ THIS is what makes owning a Handmade Small Business so special! Knowing something I created gets to be part of fun adventures and special memories in our Customers' lives!

In case you haven't hear about the "Big Phan" Documentary. The documentary tracks the Phanatic's evolution from a 1978 ballpark prankster to a pop-culture icon. It heavily features Dave Raymond (the original performer) and Tom Burgoyne (the current performer). We're hoping it makes it to a Streaming platform so we can enjoy it!💚⚾️

It's surreal to think about our items being worn at a Film Festival and our Interchangeable Decor is on display in the Owner's Suite at the Ballpark too!🥹

🎄✨ IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS AT PCD! 🎅❤️

We have SO many exciting projects happening behind the scenes right now, including bringing our vision for our December 12th & 13th Pop Up Shop at Exley's Christmas Tree Farm to life! 🎁✨

Now, you KNOW our little PCD home for the weekend will be filled with AMAZING handmade goodies! But we’re not stopping there! 👀

We have a whole VISION for transforming our space into a cozy, magical Christmas Tree Farm-inspired shopping experience! 🎄❤️ Think festive charm, rustic Christmas vibes, and all those little details that make the holidays feel extra special!

Today’s mission? HOBBY LOBBY! 🛒🤣 Did we find some adorable decorations to bring our vision to life? YES! Did we probably spend way too much time imagining where every little thing will go? ALSO YES! 🤣🎅 We still have plenty of shopping, planning, and creating ahead of us, but today was definitely a SUCCESS! 🙌

Because at PCD, we don’t just want you to SHOP with us. We want you to EXPERIENCE a little Christmas magic while you’re there! 🥹🎄✨

Introducing our DIY MINNIE CANDY CORN that I hand painted!🎀🍬 I’m not saying I’m a professional Halloween prop builder now, but LOOK HOW CUTE SHE TURNED OUT! 🤣👏

Did we learn A LOT during this DIY adventure? YES! 🤣 Did we have a TON of fun along the way? ALSO YES! 🙌

And before anyone asks. Yes, there is more video content coming for the DIY series! 🎥🤣 I filmed so much of the process and still have videos to edit for this DIY series. But I was way too excited about the finished product to keep her a secret any longer!
