Inspiration comes from people and things that touch the soul...at least that's how I feel about quilts and other things. I've been inspired by looking at what people have taken the time to work on with their hands...putting things together...using whatever is at their finger tips...and create something that brings awe, or just a simple smile. I grew up on the floor underneath the quilting frame at
church; at the 'Quilting Bee'. :) Watching the ladies push the needle and thread through the fabric, again and again, amazed me. Playing with buttons and pins...that's what I did...while laying down for a nap. My sewing skills were sparked at a very early age, and they've grown into something that is a part of me...like a heartbeat.
