It’s been a crazy Bridal Season! There were days I was buried in glitter. But I loved every single Bride I got to work with for this first half of Bridal Season….. (don’t worry, there is still another half of Bridal season to finish.)
I’m down to one last gown before I take a few weeks off.
It’s time for a little family time and R&R.
I WILL BE BACK July 29th to meet the next group of amazing brides.

Pinch me! I’m so blessed to still be meeting with the most amazing Brides, 4 years after closing my retail Bridal Shoppe.
This next Monday, March 31st is the 4 year anniversary of me walking away from Retail Bridal. Can you believe it?

I completely changed the Sewing studio layout. This pic is before. Really hoping the new layout works for my brides during their appointments and myself on the sewing days.
So much space is needed when working with long trains and full gowns. But I’m always space challenged.
First 2 Brides are about to test it out. Wish me luck. 😊🤗

After a busy January of traveling, I’m excited to get back to my sewing studio.

Travel is fun but there is no place like home and a regular routine.

Plus, I have the best job in the world! 😊 I get to work with the most amazing brides in the world. 👰‍♀️ ♥️

Beautiful Lace.
When I began doing Bridal Alterations in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, Brides were choosing simple but elegant designs. I worked on mostly satin, organza and chiffon gowns that were beautiful, but void of any lace or intricate detail.
I’ve always loved lace, so when it started to gain in popularity I was overjoyed to begin working on these new gowns.
I am always amazed by the intricate detail in each and every gown. Working closely with them I can see so many details that I would have missed by just viewing the gown as a whole.
