In the meantime, we're OPEN TODAY from 9 AM to 1 PM, and we still have several great sales going on throughout the store!

A Little Handmade Beauty at The Corner Market!

One of the first things you'll notice when stepping inside The Corner Market is "KEN's Creations!"
Kristin's beautiful jewelry and handcrafted leather goods are a wonderful example of what handmade is all about. Each piece begins with a vision, a little creativity, and plenty of thought and careful planning.

Using real gemstones, along with some lovely glass beads, Kristin creates jewelry in a variety of beautiful colors. You'll find necklaces, some with matching earrings and bracelets, each with its own special charm.
There's something about handmade jewelry that makes it a little more personal. It's not just another piece of jewelry on a shelf. It's something someone took the time to imagine, design, and create with their own two hands.

A Special Weekend at The Corner Market! ❤️

My daughter Ashley and granddaughter Azalia are here for the weekend, and I couldn't be happier!
Back in September, when Erin brought in some of the cutest fall clothing to "The Barn," I couldn't resist doing a little shopping for Azalia. I picked out several outfits and shipped them off to her. Well, wouldn't you know it, she showed up yesterday wearing some of the very clothes I had sent her! That sure brought a smile to my face.

While visiting The Corner Market yesterday, Azalia discovered the adorable book pillows in the "Country Dried Crafts" booth. Of course, she spotted the Paw Patrol pillow, which just happens to be her favorite! What grandmother can say no to a granddaughter who has her heart set on something? Needless to say, that pillow found a new home!
Ashley also did a little shopping and picked up a couple of children's games from "Cone Flower." It's always fun watching little ones discover treasures of their own.

As much as I enjoy seeing customers find special things here at the Market, there's something extra sweet about watching my own family enjoy what our vendors have to offer.
We have a weekend full of plans ahead of us, and I'm looking forward to every minute.
The Market will always have things that need doing, but these visits and the memories we make together are the things I treasure most.

After all, being a grandma is one of life's greatest blessings, and sometimes the simplest little moments become the sweetest memories. ❤️

A New Space for Timeless Treasures at The Corner Market!

We've been doing a little rearranging at The Corner Market! Our gently used furniture has found a new home within the big room! No longer tucked away in the back corner, these beautiful pieces now have a place in the new, open area of the store.

I've always had a love for furniture from times gone by. The craftsmanship, the character, and the stories those old pieces could tell! I don't paint everything. Sometimes the beauty is in the wood itself, and I wouldn't dream of covering it up.
Other times, a piece has seen better days, and bringing it back to its former glory is beyond my skill. That's when I reach for my paintbrush! Rather than see a good, sturdy piece of furniture end up in a landfill, I'd much rather give it a second chance. A little paint, some imagination, and a piece once forgotten can become something beautiful and useful again.

Old furniture doesn't always need to be made new. Sometimes it just needs to be loved again.
Along with our furniture, we have shelving and a couple of those wonderful old brick molds that have become so popular for decorating. They add such a unique touch to a home!

And here's something else to think about. If you see a piece you love but wish it had a little more color, let's talk! I can help you learn to paint it yourself using my products, or I'd be happy to paint it for you. The choice is yours!

That's part of the fun of decorating with vintage and gently used furniture. You can leave it just as it is, or give it a little personality of your own.
