And that's how it goes... So I have been working on a new IWB holster for myself on and off in spare time. I sat down today and finished it. Got it all done, soaked in water, wrapped the pew in plastic wrap and went to insert to stretch and form the holster to the pew... Pew is too big. Okay new plan, unwrap this pew, wrap a different one that "should" fit. Go to insert... And pew is too big. Went and grabbed Wyatt's toy pew (he's been asking for an IWB) just as a "let's see if" kinda thing... Perfect fit! Like as if it were made for this toy pew perfect. Only issue is I placed the belt clip patch a bit lower than it should be.

Was bored and wanted to creat something so I pulled a pocket knife out of my bored build bin. I gotta say I do think this is the best one I've done to date. Not sure if the idea was there subconsciously from the start of the build or if it came somewhere along the way but at some point I decided that I was making it for my oldest son. He's been asking to be allowed to carry a knife in his belt like I do so he and I made a deal. He knows about it and what he has to work on. Now getting it is his new goal to work towards. Day 1 which was really just the last part of the yesterday was a rough start but I know he can do it.

Had a great time last night listening to some great music! Getting to see the singer from a country band I grew up listening to was cool as hell and Little Texas singer Brady Seals's voice hasn't changed at all from the 90's.The Keith Swinney Band was great as well. We definitely plan to be attending more shows. Thanks to Keith Swinney for the good night of fun and great music. I unfortunately did not get any pictures of Brady Seals but I got to hear him live so there's that 😆.

So a little over a month ago I discovered new niche within the leather community and that is Leather Trading Cards. I had never heard of these nor ever would have thought about it. That being said it is a very large world wide community. Trades are made all over the world, for example I have received a card from Australia and sent one back. Below are individually each card I've made and then a collective photo of the cards I currently have received though more are in the way.

Just a little shy of bath day but the boys decided they needed a nature bath with a side of mud pie. The creek rose and is still rising but there are little natural baths all over back here for them to play in.

Soak it up yall because when they say " you can't go back" what they mean is you can't physically but you can go back mentally through memories which can at time be just as hard as knowing you can't physically.

I'm trying to do better at being present and living in the moment with these 2 wild crazy kind hearted boys because in the end these are the moments matter. This summer I am wanting to do a theme to my work and I'm thinking that the theme will be Soak It Up! So soak it up yall and live in the moment!
