We’re Headed to the RibFest! 🪵🔥

We are so excited to announce that we will be a vendor at this year's 3rd Annual First Responder RibFest on Saturday, September 5th at Chamber Park!

This is shaping up to be the biggest event in the region, and we can’t wait to see everyone out there. Between the incredible barbecue, over 200 craft vendors, live music, the car show, the Hometown Heroes 5K Run/Walk, the Queen of the "Q" Beauty Pageant, the mechanical bull, and so much more—there is literally something for everyone!

Please come out, enjoy a full day of fun, and support local businesses like ours! Every visit to a vendor booth helps keep our local economy strong while we all work together to support our first responders.

With William Holland School of Lapidary Arts – We just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉 We truly enjoyed our time at William Holland. We can't wait to go back in August. I already have several more classes in mind.

We are excited to share our 2026 calendar with you. We have a few more shows and we will share those dates once they are confirmed. We have some exciting new things coming, so be on the lookout.

When we are stuck inside, it's a good time to start getting ready for our spring markets. Here's a few of the things we have been working on.

We are a husband and wife team and together we are Backlund Ridge Creations, where we create wearable pieces of art. Gene cuts and polishes stones which we both use to design wire sculpted pendants. We find our rocks in the rivers and streams where ever we go, we find some of our rarer stones at gem shows and we still buy some of our cabochons. Teri makes copper pendants, earrings and cuff bracelets using a rolling mill to emboss patterns and designs in the copper and/or a torch to produce colorful patterns on the copper before fashioning them into pieces of jewelry.
