Upcoming autistic friendly event Please join us for Create Ability, The Museum of Modern Art’s program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Participants focus on different themes, explore works on view and in MoMA’s collection, and create artworks together during this interactive program in the Museum’s galleries.

April's theme is Spring Layers. Learn about artists who experiment with layering colors and shapes to make artworks inspired by nature, and create layered paper collages.

In-Person for Kids (ages 5–17)
Sun, Apr 23, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

In-Person for Adults (ages 18+)
Sun, Apr 23, 2:00–4:00 p.m.

For onsite programs, COVID-19 vaccination and masks are no longer required at the Museum, but strongly recommended for all visitors.

Hello everyone. So let me tell you, Mr. Shallym is refusing to “work” Apparently the process of fulfilling orders is to much for him right now. So in the quest to find a proactive way to spend his time I came up with a new plan. We are doing t-shirt only for fun. And we are learning photos editing. For all special needs parents, innovation and experimentation until finding what works for our kids is the backbone of our lives. Shallym is graduating from high school, in little over a year and we are now working on building our at home therapy // educational space. Moving forward I’ll be posting more about at home activities (material, supplies and ideas) and accessibility programs, places and activities that you can also can enjoy. Therefore, I welcome you all to this new part of Súper Shallym Project. We do have the online store available and hopefully in the next week a blog. With this I hope Shallym motivate to go back to work. Thanks for the LOVE. -shirt
