🌿A Little Reintroduction… Welcome to EON Homestead🌿
Some of you may have noticed that this page has a new name.
While EON Apothecary was a huge part of our journey, life has a funny way of leading us where we’re meant to be. The storefront may be gone, but the heart behind EON is still very much alive.
What many people don’t know is that EON stands for Edge of Nowhere.
The name started years ago for a few different reasons. (And if you’re a real OG, you’ll remember the name before EON!)
Our storefront sat at the very beginning corner of town, and let’s be honest—if you ask most people from the valley, Forest City is already considered the “edge of nowhere.” 😆
But the name took on even more meaning as Jake and I built our dream life together.
Today, our homestead sits high on a hill in rural Susquehanna County, surrounded by fields, woods, wildlife, and the kind of quiet you can only find when you’re a little off the beaten path. Out here, life moves a little slower. The sunsets are bigger. The stars are brighter. The days are filled with chickens, geese, gardens, muddy boots, endless projects, and lately… a very important role as Grandma. 🩵
To us, Edge of Nowhere isn’t an insult—it’s a badge of honor.
It’s about finding beauty in simple things.
It’s about growing what you can, learning what you don’t know, and creating a life that feels authentic.
It’s about choosing connection over convenience and finding a little magic in everyday moments.
And while the page is now EON Homestead, don’t worry—the herbs, crystals, and other magical goodies haven’t disappeared forever. They’re still part of who I am and what I love. Right now, though, my focus is on the homestead, my family, and soaking up these precious days with my grandson while continuing to build the life Jake and I have dreamed about for years.
So you’ll still find a little bit of everything here:
