I love being outside, and making physical gear for use out in the real world. The AI-mongers, the algorithm hawkers, the Cult of Optimization types - I want nothing to do with the inhuman world they're attempting to build. When it gets to be a bit much, the trail brings me back to earth! 📷 Self-shot close to home.

Big congrats to Venture Handmade ambassador Nick Bierman, with a solid finish in the annual Pinyons & Pines bikepacking race last weekend. Over a third of the 71 folks who started scratched out in the heat and desert terrain. Nick finished 20th and more importantly, met the goals he'd set beforehand.
