As our 95 year celebration continues, we’re sharing another chapter from the Kimmel story!

Kurt and Mark Kimmel had already spent years working in the family business, learning the operation and serving customers firsthand. Then, in 1994, they officially took ownership of Kimmel Corporation, carrying the company into its third generation of family leadership.

They brought a new season of growth, expanding Kimmel through the acquisition of five dry-cleaning companies and reaching more customers across the region. As the company grew, the focus stayed the same: dependable service, strong relationships, and doing the job right.

Their leadership helped build the foundation for the Kimmel we know today and continued a family legacy that is now 95 years strong.

If there were an Olympic event for towel folding, we know a few people who’d be bringing home the gold.

Thankfully, they use those skills to make sure every towel that leaves our facility is clean, neatly folded, and ready for our customers. It’s one of the many behind-the-scenes jobs that helps businesses run smoothly.
