When we moved to Tennessee, I had no idea how much time we’d end up spending outside.
Back in California, it felt like kids just didn’t run the neighborhood anymore. Everyone was busy, schedules were packed, and most playdates had to be planned weeks in advance.
Then we moved here and it was like we time traveled back to the 90s!
Every afternoon there are kids riding bikes, catching bugs, playing basketball in driveways, knocking on doors asking if someone can come out and play.
It’s the kind of childhood I remember having.
The kind I wasn’t sure still existed.
Actively creating the good ol’ days over here. 🤍
