"A Park Full of Art" is a non-profit organization which utilizes the money collected from artists' entry fees and the show's concessions.

Today the show has grown in stature and popularity. It draws upward of 5,000 people for the 2 day show. Participating artists represent home states from all over the United States as well as a number of artists who reside locally.


The show will consist of Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor, Pottery (hand formed clay), Sculpture, Photography, Hand Crafted Jewelry, Mixed Media, Graphics, Glass, Woodworking & Crafts*

It’s finally time! Mark your calendars and get ready for The Festival of Arts and Crafts at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake, IL. It’s a great way to get out of the winter blues and welcome in spring but, not worry about the unpredictable weather because the show is indoors.

Carl Sandburg High School Spring Craft Show

March 14th & March 15th

In 1989 the Carl Sandburg Music Boosters debuted the first CSHS Spring Craft Show in an effort to support the renowned music programs at CSHS. Thirty three years later the craft show has grown to become one of the most anticipated annual spring craft shows in the area.

Numerous crafters will be in attendance to make shopping for Easter and spring essentials a breeze.

Admission is $4 for Adults/Seniors and and children under 12 are admitted free with an adult. Free onsite parking.

​All proceeds from the CSHS Music Boosters directly benefit the music program and students at Carl Sandburg High School.
