I'll be at Fourth Street Festival of the Arts and Crafts in Bloomington Indiana this coming weekend, bringing these four eclectic lovelies for my Bloomington customers! Saturday, 10 am- 6 pm, Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm. I'll be in booth #100, on Fourth Street between Dunn and Grant. Well the power is back on at my house, the energy has come back to me mentally and physically, and I've finally been able to complete some creations that were so rudely interrupted earlier this month! Here are some new Atticus, Scout, Cruise and Malone style purses to peruse. they will be available at the Fourth Street Festival of the Arts and Crafts in Bloomington Indiana on September 5 &6, unless sold before then. Oh, my. That’s the classy way to put my frustrated feelings. The Weather devil has struck again and leads me to cancel my participation in the Lubeznik Art Show this weekend. Power has been out at my house since Tuesday morning. My car, tent, gear and product are in the garage that I can’t open without power. Yes, I am aware there is a manual cord I can pull to open, but there is no way to lock the garage and secure the house once that is open. My apologies to all who expected to see me in Michigan City this weekend. Spending my time cutting fabric, prepping for the future.

For the past several years my "Malone" style has been my best-selling purse style, I think mainly due to the three layers of pockets on the back. So I made two more styles with those three layers of pockets on the back: The "Scout" with diagonal sides, and "Atticus" with a curved top. I nearly sold out of the last group of these new ones at the last show, so I've made a few more for the show this weekend at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts show in Michigan City. 10 am-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy!

My next show is this weekend at Chesterton Art Fair in Dogwood Park, Chesterton Indiana. I'm launching two new crossbody styles at the show: "Atticus" with the curved top, and "Scout" with the diagonal sides. (Yes, a tribute to 'To Kill A Mockingbird.') Both of these new styles feature the 3 layers of pockets on the back, a popular design that is already on my "Malone" styles. I've sold over 200 of the Malone purses in the past few years, so I think these two new ones will attract interest too. Also included here are three new Malone purses. All these new purses will be available at this weekend's art show, and if they are not sold this weekend will be posted on my Etsy site next week. www.jaclyngraydesign.etsy.com

With regret, I am sad to announce that I will not be setting up for the Glenview Art Show this weekend. With excessive smoke and heat covering the Chicago area this week it is just too much for me to bear; being outside in this weather for two days in addition to the physical strain of set up and take down of my booth will be too risky for my health. Glenview is one of my favorite shows, the organizers and the customers are such wonderful people and I miss them already! Thank you in advance for your understanding. Here are a few more one-of-a-kind purses made with the unique upholstery fabrics I'm known for! Ready to display this weekend at the Glenview Art League 72nd Annual Summer Art show at Attea School in Glenview Illinois. The ones shown in this post are not posted yet on Etsy; if they are not sold this weekend, I will post to Etsy next week. Glenview Art Fair is Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th, 11 am- 5 pm, at Attea Middle School, 2500 Chestnut Avenue, Glenview. Hope to see you there!

I'm gearing up for the Glenview Art League Summer Art Show at Attea School, 2500 Chestnut Ave. in Glenview Illinois on July 18 & 19, 11 am to 5 pm each day. It is their 72nd year for this event! Today is the second day of the 2 day Covington Art Fair in Fort Wayne, 11 am to 4 pm today. I was so busy yesterday didn’t have time to take or post pictures! Still have many beautiful one-of-a-kind purses in my booth, I’m right in front of Christopher James Menswear store. Hope to see you today!
