If anyone has extra school supplies for any age please reach out and let me know. There are a few families I'm trying to help this year and we are struggling ourselves. I would love to be able to pull together and relieve their parents of this burden. I also have cashapp and venmo if you would rather donate that way. Hey friends. It has been a long time. Life threw us several curve balls and the summer hit. Once the weather got warm and humid the clothes out front started mildewing and the bugs were hiding out in everything. We had considered getting a shed, but it's not something we can financially support right now on our own and there would still be the same issues of bugs and the weather/humidity. We still have a lot of items in storage that I need to do something with. I can't afford the extra storage expense. I am trying to find a way to offer them out to those in need for free. I know we have a lot of local thrift stores that would take them but I would rather them go to people in need free, the way they were intended to be given out. If you have any suggestions please comment or message me. We are still helping fill the local food pantries/period pantries and are happy to help point you in the direction of any assistance you may need or help if we can. If you need school supplies Sharing & Caring of Niceville is doing school supplies sign ups until the 23rd of July. WWJD Free Little Food Pantry has food at the locations at Edge and Lewis, I believe The Porch Pantry on 22nd - Niceville still has items out, there's the pantry on North Palm between the apartments and the dentist. We've got lots of great local resources if you are in need of assistance! I apologize for taking so long to post on here. Life's been a lot. I am hoping that once the weather cools off we can reopen and do cold weather clothes and start back where we were. Hope everyone is doing well and having a blessed summer ! 🙏🫶💪

If anyone would like to donate any items to support this drive feel free to drop off at The Kindness Closet 850 and I'll make sure it gets there. This is such a wonderful drive. These kids deserve bday cakes 🎂

Our EDGE and Life Teen youth are collecting cake mixes for Niceville Catholic Outreach!

These simple donations help bring a little joy and celebration to families in need throughout our community. A birthday cake can make a child feel remembered, loved, and special.

We invite our parish family to join our teens in this act of kindness by donating items listed in the flyer. Donations can be brought to the parish office or designated collection area.

Thank you for helping our young people live their faith through service and for supporting our neighbors in need.

Hey friends. I apologize for the lack of posts and updates. I am working two jobs and both of my kids have been incredibly busy and our vehicle has broken down several times. On top of all this we've been having some financial trouble but this weekend I'm paying up our storage unit and will be slowly reopening up the Kindness closet. Once I get the stuff back to the house I will be contacting those that have volunteered to help. We are potentially being donated as shed so I'm going to be taking things slow with set up so we don't have to redo anything. In the meantime I went around and filled up most of our local food pantries as well as the Emerald Coast Period Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast. Just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the grocery giveaway at Crosspoint Niceville. People usually start lining up around 8:00 8:30 and food runs out around 10:30. I just started a second job and life has been pretty tough lately. I'm really trying to get up and running because people have been reaching out and I know that the help is needed. If there is anyone that would be interested in helping with the reset please comment here or message me. We have to move the items off of our porch to the carport,but we can only use half of our carport. Ideally I would like to get a shed but that's not a financial decision I can make at the moment. I just want to get some sort of system up and going so we can get back to helping out all of the incredible families we have met. The offer still stands that if anyone would like to open up a second closet we have extra shelves and plenty of clothing as well. Thank you everyone for your patience and I look forward to seeing everyones smiling faces, familiar and new ❤️

Hey friends, I apologize for being so quiet. Quite a busy couple weeks with family emergencies, vehicle repairs, house repairs and an inspection. I also picked up a second job and I'm doing the best I can do just to survive. Obviously setting everything up is going to be a big task but I am planning on starting it next week. I'm not 100% sure what the layout is going to be but if anyone would like to help please reach out. I am planning on taking everything that has been out front hanging for weeks and donating it and then starting with all new items out front. We have saved lots of swimsuits 👙 and it's time to get them out! The weather is warm and we are excited to share the blessings that have been donated with our local community.
