Native Dolphin Mercantile, LLC A bit of history on our name. As a girl, my Paw Paw, who was a commercial fisherman, would take me on his fishing boat. The dolphin became my totem.

I was fascinated by the dolphins and felt connected. I could throw bait towards them to get them to come closer. They represent balance and harmony, are in tune with their instincts, and intelligent. Dolphins are complicated creatures who symbolize resurrection and protection. They have a playful nature, which reminds me to approach life with a sense of joy and humor. People who identify with the

dolphin can be gentle, peaceful, and possess a deep inner strength. The combination of this with Native American heritage of the Chickasawhay Choctaw and Cherokee was eye opening. Although the two tribes stayed at odds in the past, I believe the spirit of the dolphin is what balances the two within.
