🌸 Happy Flower Friday! The reason I grow roses is to enjoy them inside. There’s nothing like going your own bouquet, and tell my husband i’m saving him money, because he doesn’t have to keep me supplied with fresh flowers.
I would wish you Happy National 🌹Red Rose day, however, I have not one single red rose in my garden. πŸ˜…
I adore pink roses & I also love purple and peach roses too!

πŸ’šπŸŒΈI enjoyed these beautiful Pink O’Hara garden Roses for over a week, and I was reluctant to throw them away. They are enjoy one last Springtime photo amidst the Jadeite & Pink Milk glass. I added cabbage ware to this cupboard this spring and it is such a pretty combination.
I hope you are enjoying a beautiful spring! My garden is loaded with roses and I love sharing the pictures here.

πŸ’I am sooo excited to be the Grand Prizee Winner of the 2026 Rose contest! One of my absolute favorite roses is the La Di Da rose with its unique coloration, fantastic fragrance, looong vase life, and exceptional disease resistance! It truly is a winner for any garden, and I am sooo blessed to have it in my rose garden.

πŸŒΈπŸ’•Did you know πŸ’•PINKπŸ’• Milk-glass was made for a very short time period in the 1950s?

🌸First introduced in 1958 by the Jeanette Glass Company in a beautiful, opaque Shell Pink color. It is a collection that started with 1 piece given to me by my mother.
🌸My collection has grown significantly, since then, and this china cabinet holds the dishes that were made in the pattern. This includes Everything from goblets to luncheon sets, and even a pitcher & matching glasses.
🌸The gorgeous punch bowl set was a surprise Christmas gift given to me by my sweet friends at church.
🌸Do you love this pretty in pink glassware? I sure do!

Presenting my π”Ύπ•’π•£π••π•–π•Ÿ π”Έπ•¨π•’π•œπ•–π•Ÿπ•šπ•Ÿπ•˜ 𝕋𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕖𝕀𝕔𝕒𝕑𝕖:
πŸ’ Celebrating the arrival of Garden roses with the classic Old Country Roses china and matching flatware by Royal Albert. This is a beautiful pattern dating back to 1962. My set is from an Estate sale and has the original back stamp.

Garden Awakening is the perfect theme for this Tablescape. The centerpiece is the very first of my garden roses. Soon they will all be in bloom!
Today I cut a whole basket of garden roses before more spring showers came.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈπŸ’™ I know I’m probably going to confuse everybody and the IG algorithm. You all think I’m a pink and green girl. (and I truly am), but one special room in my house is decorated in Americana decor. I am sharing that room with you today, in honor of Presidents’ Day.
πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈπŸ’™ This special room holds all of my beautiful collection of Liberty Blue Transfer-ware and antique Flow Blue dishes from my mother-in-law. It also contains clocks from my father-in-law including the grandfather’s clock that he made.
I love the beautiful convex eagle mirror from the 1960s that my husband remembers from his childhood.
When I walk in this room, I think of my wonderful late in-laws. I couldn’t have asked for a kinder mother-in-law or a more helpful father-in-law.
The paintings and hand hooked rugs were all by my talented MIL and the secretary desk was hers also.
I Love you Joan and Walt. Thank you for always making me feel welcomed into your family. β€οΈπŸ’™
