Unusual little copper melting pot that I found up in an old rundown garage in Fairfax Vermont a few years ago. I have never really discovered what it is, who made it or it's purpose, even after scouring the internet occasionally over the years since I've had it. Doesn't appear to ever have been used except inside the pot is corroded black. A curiosity for sure.

I haven’t seen a mantis in years and I saw 2 yesterday. The other was lime green. I remember in grade school someone started a rumor that we could go to jail if we killed one. Which of course was not true. They are not even endangered. However we sure spent a good portion of our time ratting out anyone who did.

This Mid Century 1940's Zanesville Pottery Drip Glaze 18" Vase, is heavy at 10lbs! You can find these vases in smaller sizes for sale but the 18" guy is hard to find for sale. Nice porch or hallway vase. Great for branches, walking sticks or umbrellas.

Another lazy, hazy, crazy day of summer. I wish I had my Canon EOS today but sometimes comes out okay. So posting my sky photos along with all the other photos taken of last nights amazing cloud shelf. A question for all the photogs out there, who is your favorite photo hosting service? I’m a fan of but curious to know what the other favorites are.

Very 😎 1978 poster created by The Committee to Boycott Nixon's Memoirs. They were an organization founded to protest the release of RN, the memoirs of former United States president Richard Nixon. Not listed yet but soon I hope.
