Yesterday was such a fun experience. We joined as volunteers for the Epilepsy Foundation of MN at Camp Oz. At check in we were able to share Rainbow Hair Hats with camp warriors (and their siblings) who get EEG testing! Pups in Sunnies was the most popular pattern and it was such a soul filling time. Espen loved meeting new friends and can’t wait to be able to go to camp on her own someday!

Hi all! Just wanted to say hello and share some news!

This coming weekend I’ve been invited to join at the Epilepsy Foundation of Mn camp registration and will be handing out Rainbow Hair Hats to those that would like them! I’m so excited to share some smiles with some pretty awesome warriors!

I also got our sign done… pretty nice, huh? 🤔

Hope summer is giving you some rest, laughter and fun!

What a dream!

What happens when we’re gone?

That’s the question Tim and Marie Kuck kept hearing from parents of children with disabilities. So they decided to answer it.

The couple are building Hopetown — a 400-acre community in Orlando designed specifically for adults with disabilities. Not a care facility. A real neighbourhood, with homes, shops, restaurants, a pool, a town centre, and job opportunities. A place where residents can live, work and belong.

The project was inspired by their son Nathaniel.

We don’t want this to be a community just for the wealthy,” Marie Kuck said. “Everybody should be welcome here.”

This is what love looks like in action.
