🚗💨 In November 2024, Victor Valley College’s Associated Student Body (ASB) traveled 419 miles to Sacramento for the Student Senate for California Community Colleges (SSCCC) Professional Development Conference! 📣

But they didn't just attend... they helped make history. 🙌

✅ A resolution sparked by VVC's ASB helped lead to the passage of AB 2033, requiring California community colleges to accept CalFresh/SNAP EBT benefits.

And now, that impact can be seen right here on campus! 💙💛

🥪🍎 FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME EVER, The RAMS STORE (inside Building 44) now accepts SNAP/EBT for eligible food and nutrition purchases, making it easier for students to grab snacks and essentials between classes.
