Reminder time for Christmas orders. You cannot order too early but you can try too late. Get with me and let’s get your custom project done. That’s one deadline that I make certain to meet. I refuse to be the reason someone doesn’t have their Christmas gift on time.

They sent me a torn canvas sheath and asked if there was anything I could do. Yup, make it in leather. Should outlast the owner now and keep that big ol knife safe and handy for many years to come. Thanks again, cuz!! Always a pleasure.

This is what I call the total package. Custom belt, holster, bullet loop run,& threw in a pocketknife sheath for good measure. All tooled and antiqued to match with inverted tooling pattern by Mr. Al Stohlman. 3/16” black buck-stitch lacing to set each piece off. Holster molded to the instrument for perfect fit and access.

So today is Seester’s birthday. We won’t get into how many, just how good they’ve each been to have with her. She’s been a personal hero to me for all my life. I always know without a doubt that she is on my side in any situation. Watching her walk out her salvation in front of all of us has taught me more than I can thank her for. Anyway, I made her a little something to show my appreciation and love.
Custom purse made from elk hide that was killed by a friend and donated to the cause. Phone pocket on the back, complete with her initials in her own handwriting. Hand tooled rose buds on front appliqués with high quill ostrich trim and bling. Drop in pockets on each side and round handles cut to the exact length she wanted. She designed every part of it and I built it. That’s about as custom as you can get. Happy birthday Seester, love you!!

So this set of toppers was on my last pair of Hey Dudes and I just took them off, cleaned them good and sewed them onto a new pair of shoes. These toppers are over 4 years old and look like the day I made them. This confirms my hopes to make them so I could transfer them to new shoes when the old shoe quit shoeing. Also testifies to how long good leather goods last, even though MY abuse.
