Today’s tinkering session at the National Children's Museum explored screen printing. We used screens made out of embroidery hoops and mesh, and started off using stickers as stencils.
By the end of the session we realized that newspaper stencils worked much better, and were much easier for clean up. It was a session where we were constantly learning and tweaking our methods. This is the best part of tinkering, I can’t wait to put all our ideas into practice in the second session on Sunday!

Every part of my body is sore today!
Yesterday’s printmaking session at the National Children's Museum was a serious workout. No need to go to the gym at all! I think we probably produced about 40 giant prints and had so much fun in the process!

Printing with our whole bodies at the Tinkerfest National Children's Museum . We used EVA foam to create giant ink pads with paper on top that visitors could walk, jump, roll, scoot and more on!

All set up for Art on the Avenue . It’s rainy, but that doesn’t tend to affect the atmosphere here. 🥳 10am-6pm, booth W150, surrounded by amazing vendors. 😍

This is my 12th year taking part in Art on the Avenue and it is one of my most favorite markets! Amazing vendors, food, performances and, of course, the Del Ray community ♥️. Can’t wait for this Saturday.
