The Commons in Columbus, IN is a large Indoor Playground with slides, tunnels, and a two-story Luckey Climber, plus separate zones for toddlers and older kids with sensory elements. 🖍️

Want to run with the Horses? 🐎

While they may not be truly wild, you can still frequently see these beautiful creatures grazing in the area are a domesticated herd of roughly 50 animals belonging to the Cades Cove Riding Stables. 🤠

These horses are used for guided trail rides and are kept in the area, although they often roam freely within their permitted spaces for visitors to see from the loop!

If you're planning a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, be sure to keep an eye for updates on their Social Media & Website.

Why is this important? 🤔

FOR EXAMPLE: The Cades Cove Loop Road will be temporarily closed in the coming weeks to protect visitors from a hazard tree removal, scheduled along Cades Cove for January 26th–30th and February 2nd–6th. 🚧

✅ The road will reopen at 12 PM each Friday and remain open through the weekend during regular hours (sunrise to sunset).

Don't let obstacles like this, derail your vacation though... There are still a ton of activities in the area and they are also able to give you recommendations on alternative routes or other areas that you may still be able to visit...

It is important to be resilient when going out to visit various locations - Because even on a rainy day, there is much to choose from in making the best of your travels! 😎
