Job Description
HeartSound, LLC is dedicated to providing opportunities for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to interact with their community. We provide in-person support services for all 21 NJ Counties.
HeartSound, LLC is dedicated to providing opportunities for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to interact with their community.
Will give weekly music and or art instruction to adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities utilizing provided curriculum.
Staff will be expected to teach music to either an individual or groups of up to six individuals
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job and maintain professional boundaries between family members and individuals served.
Staff will meet monthly (Virtually) to update curriculum as well as to ensure documentation is being properly completed.
Job Requirements
Experience with working with adults with I/DD a must (at least 1 year)
Must be able to provide consistent, quality instruction
Staff can create their own schedules, but schedules have to remain consistent throughout the quarter (at least)
Must demonstrate musical and/or art ability prior to hire
Must be able to work at least 24 hours a week (non-negotiable)
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Must submit to and pass State and Federal Criminal Background checks and determined not to be disqualified by the Department of Human Services.
Must submit to and pass drug testing prior to employment. Drug tests may be conducted randomly and for the cause.
