🎉 Happy 50th Birthday, JAWS! 🦈

On June 20th, 1975, JAWS swam into theaters and changed movies forever. Directed by a then-young Steven Spielberg, with an unforgettable score by John Williams and a mechanical menace named “Bruce,” this blockbuster birthed the summer movie season—and made us all think twice about going for a swim.

Here’s to Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw for delivering iconic performances, and to the crew who somehow survived filming with a malfunctioning shark that refused to behave (seriously, Bruce was a diva).

And let’s not forget the real shark that tried to join the franchise:
During the filming of Jaws: The Revenge (1987), a 12-foot actual shark crashed into the production boat off the coast of the Bahamas. No SAG card, no lines—just a bold reminder from nature: You’re making movies. I’m making moves.

Half a century later, JAWS still has bite. 🦈💥
Here’s to 50 years of suspense, seawater, and shark-induced nightmares!
