We’re officially 5 months away from Christmas Day, which means we’re only about 3½ months away from decorating, shopping, wrapping, and making holiday magic happen.

My heart is so full of gratitude these days, and I honestly can’t believe how many pinch me moments I’ve experienced lately.

A few months ago, I took one of the biggest leaps of my career and left the corporate retail world after 20 years to pursue CarMELLA Design Studio full-time. It was one of the scariest—and best—decisions I’ve ever made.

Every project starts with a vision, and this one is coming together through layers of soft blues, natural textures, warm woods, timeless finishes, and carefully selected pieces that create a home that feels relaxed, elevated, and lived in.
