A little update from Amanda and Steph❤️

After a lot of conversations and planning, we’ve decided that Steph will be stepping away from ownership at The Grey Duck Boutique.

When Steph joined the business, it was never meant to be a forever plan—it was the right partnership for the right season. And what a season it was.

When Amanda needed help, Steph stepped in wholeheartedly. From events and merchandising to everyday problem-solving and decision-making, she helped carry the business through an important chapter. Her friendship, support, and countless contributions have meant more than we can say.

We also want to be clear about something; you will still see Steph around the store from time to time, and Amanda will certainly still call her mid-day to ask “isn’t this super cute???” ☺️ We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and grateful for the friendship and partnership we’ve shared along the way.

For Steph, balancing a full-time career, family life, and boutique ownership eventually became more than she wanted to juggle long-term. While she’ll miss many parts of the business—especially the customers, events, merchandising, and creative side of things—she feels confident that now is the right time for this next chapter.

The Grey Duck isn’t going anywhere. Amanda will continue leading the boutique and helping you find pieces you love, while carrying forward everything we’ve built together.

Most importantly, we want to thank all of you. Whether you’ve shopped with us, attended an event, shared a post, cheered us on, or simply stopped in to say hello, you’ve been part of this journey. The support this community has shown us has meant more than words can express.

Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to see what comes next for The Grey Duck!!
