Ambassadors Series: Kalani Vierra

Drowning is the number one cause of death for visitors in Hawaii and leading cause of death for children ages 1-15. If you have ever visited Hawaii, please donate to support the hardworking lifeguards who have dedicated their lives to protecting the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.

⚠️ If you are a Lifeguard in one of the yellow states, your voice needs to be heard. Scroll to find your representative, and call them ASAP. Request they support House Resolution 1188, and that notify their office that you are an Open-Water Lifeguard requesting formal recognition as a first responder. This Resolution will be landing on the floor to vote late August 2026.
California Lifeguards can also reference Senate Reaolution 192.
