Received my first stripe today. I’m very grateful for my coach and the school . This has been a difficult and fun journey so far. It’s always funny when you start anything, the learning curve. You feel funny and out of place, but you just keep showing up and take it a step at a time. I’ve learned not only some of the martial art, but i’ve also learned different life lessons. For example, when you’re in a bad position and about to get submitted, don’t lose your focus. Stay calm, breathe, make a strategy and figure a way out. Sometimes it’s an inch by inch movement, but eventually you put yourself into a better position.🥋 Grateful for all the other students that roll with me as well. First stripe of many to come.

PROCRASTINATION - the action of delaying or postponing something.
This message hits home for me. Procrastination is one of the Giants that I have had to battle with for a good portion of my life. I’m grateful to God and good people that have helped me improve in this area of my life. I’ve learned that having accountability partners is huge with overcoming this. Hope that those that relate to this message will fight to stay away from Procrastination. Thank you for sharing your life experiences 🙏🏽

We’re here trying something new. Stepping out of the comfort zone and humbling myself as a student. Don’t know much yet about this martial art, but that’s how the beginning of anything new in life always starts. I’m excited to learn and absorb as much as possible. I’m still in the process of gaining more experience and knowledge also in the martial art of Muay Thai. Started the same way not knowing anything and over the span of 5 months gained some knowledge. Hope whoever reads this will decide to Start whatever it is that they have been intimidated or hesitant from starting. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Thanks to coach and his gym Grateful to be part of the team 🙏🏽🥋

Had the beautiful opportunity to help with this project twice already and this year, first week of December I will have the honor to serve for a third time with some amazing people. Thank you to my brother for getting the team together and looking forward to helping the team build another home for another family in need.

What an amazing way to start the new year. Love that we are able to serve others and see the difference that it makes in their lives. I completely recommend anyone that wants to feel a sense of fulfillment that other things can’t bring, to join in on future projects. Follow and see all the in need families that have been helped though this awesome ministry.
