Case Name: Rich Allison v. Love Boutique-Vista, LLC

Case Number: Superior Court No. 37-2020-00001260-CU-CR-NC (Appellate Case No. D078445)

The Plaintiff & Attorney: Rich Allison, represented by Alfred G. Rava (The Rava Law Firm).

The Conflict: The lawsuit was filed under California's Unruh Civil Rights Act after the plaintiff was denied entry to a 4-hour "Ladies Night" educational event hosted on January 20, 2019.

The Ruling: The trial court dismissed the complaint, and the California Court of Appeal officially affirmed the win, ruling that restricting the intimate educational event to women did not violate the Unruh Act.

Pretty crazy it’s been almost 20 years since we first opened our store. It was a massive battle with the city of Vista to get our doors opened. So we fought. One city council meeting after the next. On October 5th we finally got the OK. On October 6th 2006 we opened our doors to the public for the very first time.

We’ve had some incredible events, the most supportive vendors & distributors, loyal & caring employees, amazing customers and some pretty crazy stories over the years.
