To the first time visitor who came in Saturday and decided to give me a 1-star review on Google because there isn't enough handmade and/or "alt" stuff here for her liking:
Maybe reading isn't your strong suit...or thinking outside of the box. Either way, here are the Goth style guides I have posted on the racks you were looking through, so you can take a closer look at what I am about: being inclusive. I've been here for just a couple of months and am still building the secondhand rack collections, if you had bothered to ask before writing your "review"...but, I still feel they have plenty of pieces already on them that are great inspiration for anyone who is TRULY alt to make as edgy or as another-kind-of-"subgoth" as they want it to be to suit their own styles.
To everyone else, I am more than happy, ANYTIME, to look through the shop racks, or at your own weird/vintage/handmade pieces that you bring in from home, to find fun combos to give you a genuinely unique look that not just anybody can pick from the grab-n-go shelves of the closest hot topic. You are the real "alternative" deal, friends.
In summary:...Don't be a gatekeeper....Better yet, don't be a poser....And, if you can't say something nice, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
(Sorry, y'all, I shouldn't let it get to me, but this has been grinding at me allllll weekend...had to get it off my chest!)
