It has been challenging the past few years and add to that my beloved father past away this year! While it is difficult to move forward without his presence, it is what must be done for me and my family! Making sure my mom is strong and comforted while also moving forward.
Not posting here made me realize that my content needs to be kept up to date. All things in life take time, no matter what and healing is at the tip top of my concerns.
Some of you may have experienced losses of loved ones and I can honestly say, I feel that kind of pain now, with my own loss. Stay strong and know you are not alone. I hope that you are surrounded by loved ones who can help you through your own loss and deal with all the challenges that come with that.
For those of you who have inquired on services I provide: alterations, sewing, upholstery and custom design, thank you! I am now catching up on projects that have been pushed back or on hold. Taking care of my dad during his health decline made that my priority and the care and assistance of my mom as well.
Moving ahead, there will be days I set aside for appointments only. That is yet to be determined. While you may have a time frame for your own project, understand that there is a process in all I do and some may longer than others.
I have stopped taking what is considered “rush orders”. Every customer deserves the time and attention I give to one’s project. This will help me complete each project with the utmost care and attention to detail in the process.
Emergency orders will be reviewed to determine if I can handle it. Otherwise, I will send you a recommendation, if I have one for your particular project.
When it comes to bulk item projects or bundled projects, know that my workmanship is not one to bring down in discounts. I do my best to price each project for you, the customer and myself (the skilled seamstress and all that entails each project).
