Story time. The warehouse sent me the wrong shirts right before . Every single Medium came in as a pocket tee instead of the regular tees I had planned for.

I set them aside.

When five people at my booth wanted that shirt in a medium and I had 0, I told them what I’d been sitting on.

Saturday at Out! Raleigh Pride was one of the best days I've had at a market. Full stop. 🌈🧵

One block from the Capitol. A sky that threatened rain and delivered a breeze instead. A street full of people who just wanted to be together.

You picked up towels & hats & shirts, you laughed, you said, "This is so me!" — and that is exactly why I make what I make. 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 — 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁.

So excited for this event on Saturday 6/27! I'll be located on Fayetteville Street, near the intersection with Hargett St, just a block from the Capital. If you're trying to find me, I'm across from the bathrooms and a block closer to the event center, just a bit away from the DJ stage & beer garden (I'm in spot G14). How do you know there is an event coming up in the next few days? Well — it’s 11:30 AM and I’m still in my PJs and posting a selfie with the eighth towel I have embroidered this morning…That may be a good clue.

Welp, it was about 1000 degrees at the Night Market Alphabet Soup in Cary Saturday night, but the heat did not slow this crowd down one bit.

Let me tell you about the four images in this post:

The Jesus "OMG YOU GUYS! I NEVER SAID THAT" towel sold out in the first 90 minutes. Gone. Most of y'all didn't even get to see it. (I'm already making more so it'll still ring up just fine on my site. 😜)

Y'all scooped up the Pride hats, but the purple ones were the first to fully disappear, and the ponytail hats were a close second.

And yet another market where the 1900s shirts were wildly popular — I only had two left by the time I packed up. TWO. A handful of you ordered custom shirt colors with the 1900s design so your gift lands exactly right for your person.

And that face you're seeing? That's the exact moment I hit $1K in sales for the event. Had to document it.

Cary, you made the overwhelmingly sweaty event worth it. So. much. fun! 🌈🧵

The part nobody sees: the back-and-forth with a customer to get it exactly right. The digitizing. The test stitches. The “wait, can we try it this way?” And then you iron it out, run it through the machine, and hand-cut every edge. This one is a Father’s Day set! A matching onesie and tee for a new dad and his adventure buddy. 🧵🪡 I daydreamed about how much joy it would bring this new family the entire time I made it. I’m forever grateful for this opportunity to help create memories with y’all.
