This is the best story ever!!

Orangey was the most decorated cat in Hollywood history. He was also, by nearly every account, an absolute nightmare to work with.

The orange tabby won two PATSY Awards — the animal equivalent of an Oscar — first for playing a cat who inherits a baseball team in Rhubarb, and then for his iconic role as "Cat" opposite Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Two films. Two wins. A record no other cat has ever matched.

Between takes, he bit co-stars, scratched anyone within reach, and disappeared off set for hours at a time while entire productions ground to a halt waiting for him to be found. Studio executives called him the world's meanest cat. His trainer said working with him made coyotes seem cooperative by comparison.

And yet, nobody fired him. Nobody could.

Because Orangey had one ability that Hollywood will forgive almost anything for — he could sit perfectly still in frame for as long as a scene required. In a business where time is money and animals are unpredictable, that kind of patience is priceless.

So they kept calling him back. He kept biting people. And he left with two awards anyway... 🐈❤️
