Hello PALM Community,
We wanted to provide an update regarding the Royal Stamp Series pins.
Following each release, we manually review orders to help ensure they are legitimate and to identify purchases made through fraudulent methods, including the use of sophisticated bots designed to gain an unfair advantage over other customers. As outlined in our Terms of Service, the use of automated purchasing scripts, bots, or similar technologies is strictly prohibited. Orders reasonably believed to involve these methods or otherwise violate our policies are subject to cancellation.
During Waves 1 and 2, several orders were placed on shipping hold while we conducted a thorough review of their legitimacy. Although our initial security measures successfully prevented many unauthorized purchases, a small number of highly sophisticated bot-assisted orders were able to bypass those protections. After completing our manual review, we identified these orders as being in violation of our Terms of Service and canceled them. As a result, a limited quantity of inventory from Waves 1 and 2 has been recovered.
Because of these unique circumstances, we have decided to offer replacement pins to customers who previously contacted us regarding verified factory defects from Waves 1 and 2 and submitted clear photographic evidence before this announcement. This is a one-time exception made only for customers whose claims had already been reviewed and approved. Replacement eligibility is limited to the original purchaser of the product. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend this offer to claims submitted after this announcement or to anyone outside of those previously reviewed cases.
Regarding Wave 3, our review uncovered a significantly higher level of sophisticated bot activity than we experienced during the previous releases. As a result, a substantially larger quantity of inventory became available after orders that violated our Terms of Service were identified and canceled.
To better protect select future releases, we will be implementing additional security measures for products that are likely to attract this type of activity. These enhancements will include stronger bot protection and a lottery-based waiting room system designed to create a fairer purchasing experience for all customers.
We will announce the date and details for the release of the remaining inventory once our review process has been completed and plans have been finalized. Our goal is always to make our products available as fairly and equitably as possible for the many collectors who support Pink a la Mode.
