Really neat story from the Hampton County Watermelon Festival related to this Independence Day weekend…I saw a young man who looked to be maybe 11ish near my boutique trailer and he had the best mullet ever! I yelled over to him that he should let me tinsel it for the 4th of July with red, white and blue. He said he would love to but wasn’t sure what his parents would say. I waited a few minutes and I walked over and told him that I would do the tinsel for free if his parents agreed and they did! The results were AMAZING and he loved it. While he was sitting in my chair he told me that he had been growing his mullet for 3 years so he could enter a mullet competition where the prize is like $500. I’d never heard of a mullet competition but I sure hope he wins! I didn’t get his name or his parents info other than they are from Florida but I would hope that this post finds him so I can see if he placed in the competition. Good luck,my little patriotic friend 🇺🇸
